Intended audience for this class includes: providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician’s assistants, medical or nursing students in training, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel.

You are required to have the 2025 textbook(s) for this course. If you already own or have access to the textbook(s) before, during, and after the class, you do not need to purchase them. The course textbook(s) can be purchased electronically from the American Heart Association website.
