CPR / AED

Combined adult, child, and infant CPR, AED, and first aid training program. This is our most popular course and meets the needs of anyone wanting to gain basic emergency response skills and confidence in emergency situations.

This flexible program helps employers meet OSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for employee emergency response training and is ideal for individuals, parents, babysitters, child care providers, teachers, coaches, foster parents, and workplace or community safety teams.

This course includes pediatric first aid and CPR training with hands-on, in-person skills practice and competency testing for adult, child, and infant emergency response techniques. Topics include CPR, AED use, choking relief, allergic reactions (including epinephrine auto-injector use), bleeding control, head injuries, stroke recognition, heart attack response, and other common medical emergencies.

The CPR / AED course includes child and infant training modules and may meet Child Care Subsidy requirements when completed with the pediatric components and in-person skills testing.

This certification is provided through the American Health & Safety Institute (ASHI) and is based on current emergency cardiovascular care and first aid guidelines. Upon successful completion, participants receive a 2-year certification.
