Designed for groups over ten, the ‘safe at home’ program is designed for children who are ready to stay at home by themselves. Many children are excited about staying home alone, but they may have many questions about staying safe and caring for themselves while their parents are away. This program will help children feel good about having a routine to help them get home safely from school, complete homework, do chores, and provide them with basic first aid skills that they can use to treat minor injuries while their parents are away.
New View Training is proud to provide our Safe at Home Program that teaches and empowers kids to stay at home alone and with others safely. We’ve developed a three-point program that involves real-life home safety scenarios. The four-hour training program can be held at our Omaha, NE home office, your organization, school, or church.
The worksheets and information your kids will bring home from this training will help facilitate conversations and help develop plans to stay “safe at home!”
